Description of the 4 Bedroom House Plan

The front porch brings you to the inside of the house. You have a spacious dining area and a spacious lounge seated side by side. Between these 2 rooms you have a nice and cozy fire place. You have beautiful arches on either sides of the fire place that separate the 2 spaces.
The spacious kitchen sits right next to the dining area.
You have spacious walk in pantry in the kitchen, providing you with all the storage space you need.
The dining room, lounge and kitchen are semi open easing movement and making the spaces interact very well together.
Right at the back from one corner to the other you have a visitor’s cloak room, the staircase and the en-suite bedroom.
I find the cloak room in this setup very private and secluded – just the way it should be.
Right next to the staircase, you have a door that leads to the back porch.

The cost of construction for this 4 Bedroom house plan in Kenya is approximately 8.5 million. We use the construction cost hand book to estimate the cost of construction. This is a handbook that is provided and updated every year by the Institute of Quantity Surveyors of Kenya.
This is a good rate to have in mind but always remember there are a lot of factors that affect the cost of construction in different parts of the country.

I like this design but am wondering if the top floor could be rotated 180 degrees so that the master bedroom was on the back of the house. I would then want to lengthen the ground floor back porch to the end of the house and also deepen it. I would then want to deepen the master bedroom balcony. I just don’t want the master on the front side of the house…
