The Fahari 4 Bedroom House Plan – Detailed Features

In this house plan design, you have an outdoor entrance porch that leads to the indoor entrance lobby.

On one side of the entrance lobby you have your visitors cloak room, perfectly located for your guests and provides good privacy.

Right ahead you have an extra spacious living room and dining room seated side by side in a semi open plan set up. These 2 spaces will provide you with enough space for your furniture leaving more than enough circulation space.

From the living room, you have 2 different doors that lead to the outdoor terrace. The terrace wraps around the front and side of the house.

You have an extra spacious kitchen with more than enough low level and high level cabinetry . Additionally you have a walk-in pantry.

A door leads from the kitchen to the back yard, where you have a dhobi area. At the backyard, you can set up some work space and hanging lines to work well with your your dhobi area.

Towards the back of the house, adjacent to the kitchen, you have the staircase and tucked at the corner, you have an en-suite bedroom, perfect for your guest or your domestic worker.

You have a balcony at the family room for some additional outdoor space. Looking closely, you will see a small shared toilet has been provided upstairs. This serves the family room well, without having to access the bedrooms.

You have a spacious master bedroom with its own private bathroom. The master bedroom has its own private balcony as well.

The Fahari 4 Bedroom House Plan -Sizes and Spaces

The total size of the house is 264M², offering a ground floor area of 134M² and an upper floor area of 110M² and 20M² balcony space.
The overall plinth dimension is 14.5 meters wide by 13.5 meters long.

This design is perfectly designed to fit on an eighth of an acre piece of land. That is a 50*100. Make sure that you have a full acre. Some people sell land calling it an eighth but when measured, the land turns out not to be a full eighth.

Construction Cost

The cost of construction for this 2 story house design is approximately 9.5 million Kenya Shillings. We use the construction cost hand book to estimate the cost of construction. This is a handbook that is provided and updated every year by the Institute of Quantity Surveyors of Kenya.

This is a good rate to have in mind but always remember there are a lot of factors that affect the cost of construction in different parts of the country.
